OUR MISSION
We are Rural Charge, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of rural families and students. Our mission is to provide access to and advocate for quality education, health care, employment, and social support. We believe that every rural community deserves the opportunity to thrive and contribute, through environmentally friendly projects. We work with local partners and volunteers to deliver our programs and services in the most effective and efficient way. Rural Charge partnered with small ranchers to achieve goals in growing larger herds of cattle without the need of additional land. Rural Charge worked closely with communities to connect ranchers with information and resources. Efficient water use, and land management practices help improve ranch conditions, pasture productivity, sustain herds through drought and changes in climate, and increase biodiversity. Rural communities are the backbone of our nation. They provide us with food, fiber, fuel, and natural resources. They are home to millions of hardworking Americans who value family, community, and tradition. They are also facing unprecedented challenges, such as the balancing family farm management with education, climate change, economic decline, and social isolation.
